Outreach Program: Perpetual Help Placement and MedPro International Team Up for a Meaningful Day in Laguna June 29, 2024

On June 29, 2024, Perpetual Help Placement and Medpro International partnered with our esteemed US client for a heartwarming outreach program in Laguna. This initiative aimed to support the local community by distributing grocery packages and essential items to those in need. The event highlighted our commitment to giving back and fostering strong relationships between our organizations and the communities we serve.

The outreach program brought together team members from Perpetual Help Placement, Medpro International, and our US client, all united by a shared goal: to make a positive impact in the lives of local families. The event began early in the morning, with volunteers from all three organizations coming together to prepare grocery packages filled with staple items such as rice, canned goods, and personal hygiene products.

As the sun rose over Laguna, excitement filled the air. Families from the local area arrived, eagerly anticipating the support that was about to be provided. The atmosphere was one of joy and camaraderie, as volunteers engaged with community members, sharing stories and smiles while ensuring that everyone received their packages.

The outreach program also included fun activities for children, creating a festive environment that emphasized community spirit. Our team members took the time to connect with families, fostering relationships that extend beyond this single event.

The distribution of grocery packages not only provided immediate relief to those facing economic challenges but also reinforced our commitment to social responsibility. We believe in the power of community and the importance of lifting each other up. By partnering with our US client, we were able to extend our reach and resources, maximizing the impact of our efforts.

The success of this outreach program is a testament to what can be achieved when organizations come together for a common cause. We are grateful to our US client for their collaboration and support, and we look forward to future initiatives that will continue to benefit the Laguna community.

In conclusion, our outreach program on June 29, 2024, was more than just an event; it was a celebration of community, compassion, and collective action. At Perpetual Help Placement and Medpro International, we are dedicated to making a difference and are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming outreach programs, and thank you for your continued support in making a difference!

UPHSL Medical University Career Fair 2025: Inspiring the Future of Healthcare May 29, 2025

The highly anticipated Medical University Career Fair 2025 was hosted at the Performing Arts Theater, Biñan Campus, on May 19, 2025, by the University of Perpetual Help – Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Medical University. Nearly 200 graduating students from various programs, such as nursing, medical technology, radiologic technology, caregiving, medicine, respiratory therapy, midwifery, pharmacy, and physical therapy, attended the event. The fair, which had as its topic "Careers in Health: Shaping Tomorrow’s Healthcare Leaders – A Journey Into Healthcare and Well-being," aimed to direct students toward fulfilling jobs in the healthcare sector both locally and abroad.

The event was organized by Ms. Maria Rebecca R. Marfil, RGC, RPm, Head of Student Welfare Guidance and Testing, and Dr. Mona Liza U. Avelino, Director of Student Services, It reflected the university’s commitment to career readiness and global opportunities. One of the highlights of the fair was the participation of the Perpetual Help Placement Services International Inc. Recruitment Team, the only international recruitment agency invited. Our representatives, Ms. Alyssa Maica T. Lopez, Talent Acquisition Specialist, and Ms. Sheena Marie Reyes, Recruitment Specialist, discussed the current hiring opportunities for two U.S.-based employers—Management Health Systems LLC dba MedPro International and Global Talent Agency dba Global Talent Specialists —as well as placements for the United Kingdom. Also, A representative from the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) gave a particularly insightful talk on a topic that is important to students thinking about working abroad: recognizing trustworthy recruitment firms and confirming foreign employers by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). In the final activity of the event, the students were given the chance to visit the booth of the agencies that they think best suit their skills and the program that they specialize in.

The UPHSL Medical University Career Fair 2025 was more than a typical job fair—it was a platform for exploration, empowerment, and global readiness. As students left the venue, they carried more than just brochures and business cards. They left with inspiration, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose as they prepare to take their place in shaping the future of healthcare.
